A style folk tale

Hola pretty women! I'm back from my vacation! Was pretty jet lagged for quite a while but am fully renewed now and all set to continue with my style journey. Are we set? :)

Today I bring you a whiff of Sikkimese grandeur..A cozy state in eastern India, nestled in the lap of the grand Himalayan mountains and the land of the Kanchenjunga(my favourite mountain peak :)  ). A pretty Indian state with even prettier and coy women and beautiful people!

I am wearing a classic silk 'Baku' the traditional dress worn in Sikkim(it is a variation of the Tibetan version of the dress). It is also worn in Ladakh and Darjeeling in India and in Bhutan as well. I replaced the 'Haanju' (which is a shirt like inner garment-usually made of elegant silk or satin) with a collared matching shirt. I have always loved this attire and have worn it to formal parties. It's exquisite and I have always found it exotic. Am hoping to get my hands on more of these with its myriad styles!
