Polka+Mustard-Hello Fall!

It's officially fall! The dreamiest of breezes are blowing in the bay and it's beautiful!Just enough sun and enough breeze!
Ginger's already huddling up in her favorite corner of the couch-and winter's not even begun! :)

The weather is just right for the humble cardigan! One can wear boots already but I'm still going to leave them for a little later. I have brought out my old mustard cardigan(one still can't put this trend away yet right? :) ) and belted it over a red polka dress. For a retro feel, I've dressed up the outfit with my oxford shooties!

What are your favorite pieces for fall?

Looks for less!

Why spurge when you can save?? I have learned a ton of things doing what I love most(but doesn't pay me!)-shopping! I have bought some pieces for a fraction of the price whilst they were selling for twice or 3 times the cost elsewhere!I'm serious!Sometimes the exact same pieces, sometimes very similar. Like I usually say-I shop but am saving so much on most items I would have had to pay more for otherwise! As if that helps!-he smiles now-he's given up! ;)

Here are some super deals I found!

Fashion Union UK

Hi guys!

I just discovered this new online brand called the Fashion Union based in the UK. I have picked out my favorite dresses from the site and paired them with shoes I loved on the site! There's a contest being run by the brand for  network bloggers who can enter the contest here.
Fashion Union UK

1. Black check skater dress

Checks +Skater.Very cute style I have been having my eyes on especially for the fall. How cute would these look with a cute mustard cardigan and tan booties or with the black ankle straps I've paired it with and a faux leather jacket for an evening about town?

2. White lace panel dress

I love the lace panel on this body-con dress and the cinched waist to one side. I would go for a white+black look for this dress, paired with the ankle straps(they remind me of Zara heels I have been wanting as well but for a fraction of the price!)

3. Red peplum dress

Can I say enough about peplum? I have been loving this trend for sometime now! A red one could be added to my collection!Blue pumps could give the dress an eclectic twist or if you wish to go the traditional way, a pair of sleek black/nude pumps or ankle straps would sway you into a lovely soiree!

4.White+black dress

A staple work dress which states chic and professional. One can do so much with a basic dress like this. Take it into the evening with some statement jewellery and transition from blazer to faux leather jacket for the evening.

So here are my picks from the Fashion Union! Go check out what you love for yourself!

White

White and lace has been my favorite trend-you know I've been raving about it don't you! Here's my peplum lace number-an all white look with gold sandals. Ignore the weird tan on my feet!(the Nevada sun was burning!)
White always states elegance; so am keeping the outfit very neat and simple with a white bag and basic gold sandals. The outfit really says 'brunch' doesn't it?? Hmm, what should I dish up for my meal? :) Chicken and cranberry salad anyone??

I'll also take this opportunity to invite you all to get styled by me! I am a stylist at Keaton Row. I will provide you with your very own free lookbook! I would love to pick out styles and outfits personally  for you! Do sign up here with me if you're interested!

I just added watermarks to my pictures too! To my dismay, I found one of my pictures being used by a website to sell the traditional pieces I was wearing! Do any of you have better suggestions for watermarking??

Delhi Street Style

One of the prettiest gals I know allowed me to use this lovely snap of hers in a salwaar kameez! Isn't she lovely?
Kasturi's wearing an elegant white 'chikan' kameez(a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow in North India) and printed 'patiala' salwaar(flared, loose and pleated pants common in Punjab in North India) and a two tone tie dye stole(dupatta) with 'kolhapuri' open toe, T-strap sandals(these are locally made handcrafted slippers). Lovely fusion of color and print ain't it?
Refreshing and chic!

Hot air balloons

Romantic, quaint and lovely-the idyllic balloon(hot air balloon) has always been dreamy to me!
I was lucky to witness the balloon races at Reno where Ginger and I traveled to this last weekend! Numerous colorful balloons ;of different shapes as well; dotting the sky is a sight to witness! The balloons take off just before the break of dawn and alternately glow, twinkling like beautiful lamps in the dark skies, brushed with orange rays from sunrise! After sunrise, there's a mass ascension and a hundred balloons take to the skies.
Here are some snaps from my short but wonderful trip! I picked up a cute little balloon pendant as a souvenir which I'm sporting on today's outfit.Go ride a balloon!Have a fantabulous day!

Lovely isn't it? Noticed the Wells Fargo chariot? :)
