I was recently invited with my husband to a prayer ceremony at a local temple. I chose to go with the apt attire that the occasion called for. Another opportunity to dress up :) . A salwaar kameez!

Indian ethnic wear is a feast for one's soul! The vibrant colors, textures, fabrics and designs are exquisite-to say the least. My outfit is a swing-kameez with a shrug jacket and churidar(the leggings/tights). I accessorized it with silver jewellery(the best part of wearing traditional attire-one can never go overboard with the jewellery :) ). On second thoughts, I wish I had worn more bangles.hmm or even a sari....-maybe the next time!  So here I am!
